The OU Club of Houston sponsors bus trips to athletic events, primarily in the southeast/central Texas area. Most notably is the biennial trip to College Station to watch the OU-Texas A&M football game.
The weekend usually starts Friday evening with a “Beat A&M” pep rally and party. The Pride of Oklahoma Marching Band and OU cheerleaders sometimes make a surprise appearance. Saturday, Houston-area Sooner fans load several buses for the trip to College Station for the game. The Texas A&M weekend is a great way to see old friend and make new ones!
Other OU Club-sponsored trips to athletic events include the Baylor football game in Waco, and to Austin and College Station for men’s and women’s basketball games against Texas and Texas A&M, respectively. Please check the Web site and calendar for the next scheduled trip.
